It’s funny because it happens again. I think that IT investors have something in common with kids – they are very naive. There is one difference between them and kids – kids draw conclusions, but IT people keep making the same mistakes constantly.

How will it end? I’m not sure, but I can guess. ;D

In the past, we had many speculative bubbles in IT. I’m too young to describe all of them, but I have read a lot about hundreds of variants of console games and many kinds of PCs such as Atari, Commodore, ZX Spectrum, Amiga, Schneider PC, and that’s all I know. We also had many variants of Unix operating systems – hundreds of variants.

How did it end? A little bit badly, but I think the first apocalyptic scenario came true in the 90s with the internet bubble. Not long ago, we had the startup bubble, and now we have an AI speculative bubble.

But this time something has changed.

This time, IT creators and software developers started cutting the branch they were sitting on. Many workplaces have been replaced by AI. Now, the IT job market is focused on data analysis and AI. Again, we have a lot of investors who are paying a lot of money for this new bubble.

I read announcements about new kinds of professions, but they haven’t appeared. Many people lost their jobs, and many products are made by AI. Hey, Investor, what do you think? Who will buy all these AI-made products, and where will they get the money for them?

What do you think? How will it end? If the whole work paradigm changes, you can be sure you will lose your money. Many naive people believe in guaranteed income – yeah… sure… Have you ever heard about inflation and economics?

A few years ago, I didn’t believe that so many people could be foolish enough to destroy their source of income. I naively thought that the AI revolution would never happen.

The internet destroyed our relationships and made us lazy. AI, which finds the answer to all your questions, will make us completely stupid.
